Thanksgiving Fun!

What a great Thanksgiving week with the Adams! We were ALL in California this year and had the whole gang together...all 20 of us! It was as crazy as always but so much fun!
We had Thanksgiving dinner at my sister Julie's house which was lots of work but so delicious.
The day after Thanksgiving we went to SAN FRANCISCO....which is one of my most favorite places to be! I of course I had to go to my most favorite restaurants on Pier 39, BOUDIN'S! I love the craziness of the city and how beautiful it is.
On Saturday, all of us girls and the kids went to Apple Hill up in the Sacramento area while all the guys went golfing. The kids had lots of fun at Apple Hill, taking train rides, seeing farm animals and eating yummy apple pie and chocolate fudge!
On Sunday, my new cute niece, Milly was blessed and we were all so lucky to have been there for that!
We also found out this week that 2 of my sister-in-laws are pregnant!! yay! They are both due in June. I absolutely can not wait to have 2 new additions to the Adams clan!

Here are a few pictures from our fabulous Thanksgiving break!!

We had my 4 year old niece write all of our names tags for dinner :)

Conference Weekend

I love conference weekend! Its a great reminder oh how grateful I am to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. I know I am a child of God who loves me. I loved the talks given by the leaders of the church and the wonderful revelation and inspiration they receive from our father in heaven. President Monson is such a wonderful example to me of loving everyone and dedicating his life to serving the Lord. I want to start here and now on becoming a better person. Forgetting the past and focusing on the future. I have made mistakes, let people down, lost friends, made friends, been happy, been sad, and loved with all my heart. I wish I could apologize to those I have hurt or have done wrong to. I love everything and everyone. I love my life and everyone in it more than anything but I promise right here and now to do all I can to be a better friend, wife and person.

Here is a silly but cute video I saw this weekend that is a good reminder of how much Heavenly Father loves not only me but all of his earthly children.

Oregon Trek

Even though Dallen and I LOOOVE Rexburg more that anything ;) we decided to leave for a couple days and head to Oregon. We were heading over to Grants Pass, OR to a wedding and to hang out with Jeff, Julie and the 2 most adorable girls, Haley and Elsie.  We decided on our way down there that we would stop in Prineville and surprise Dallen's family. The surprise worked! They had no idea and were coming and were very excited about their surprise. (but I mean who wouldn't be excited to see us?? ;) Anyways, we hung out with the Pope's for a while and then headed down to Grants Pass to the ranch for the wedding. We had so much fun there and it was so great to see Jeff, Julie and the kids and hang out at the ranch!!  It was so pretty and I cant wait to go back someday :) When we were leaving the ranch, heading back to Rexburg, we decided to stopped at Crater Lake in Oregon. It was so pretty, I wished we could have stayed longer but all good things have to come to an end. Here are some pics from our trip!

one year baby...ONE YEAR!

It is so crazy that it has been ONE YEAR since Dallen and I got married!! All i have to say it that its been a crazy, exciting, new, ups, downs, fun loving first year. I love being married to my best friend and I couldnt be happier with life :) Dallen and I we so excited to celebrate our anniversary so we decided to to plan a small weekend get-a-way to Lava Hot Springs. It was SO much fun! We stayed in a cute little hotel, swam, water sliding and floated down the river of death(that is what we named it because we about died going down it). It was quite an adventure but lots of fun to get away! :) The morning of our anniversary, Dallen woke up extra early and set up a cute little surprise for me. He is just the sweetest! Here are a few pictures from our weekend!

My parents also come up from Cali so that was great to have them there too. Also, my freaking amazing sister-in-laws made a very yummy birthday brunch and made my very favorite meal...GERMAN PIZZA! It was so great and I am so grateful for them. Here are a few pics from the weekend!

Also for my birthday my hubby took me out to dinner to my favorite restaurant in the whole wide world. Olive Garden. :) He treated my like a princess (as always) all day and got me so many presents! I.am.spoiled. :)

Rockstar Dallen

So I decided that Dallen's hair was just way too long. He calls me up on his way home from work one day and told me to get out the clippers because he wanted to shave his head. I was shocked he was so willing to cut it that much. (he loves his long hair) But i think even he was tired of it too. So we spent about about 3 hours on his hair cut and had a lot of fun cutting different hair styles and such!

Yeah we're goin to Jackson, Look out Jackson town

Saturday morning conversation:
Dallen: Hey Jess, we should go to Jackson Hole.
Jess: Really? ok! when should we go?
Dallen: Hmmmm...right now??
Jess: OK!!
After our impulse decision to go out of town, we started packing and getting ready to go. We were so excited! We got on the computer and found a place to stay and headed to Jackson! We didnt take into consideration that there was a raging blizzard outside but we went anyways. It took a little longer to get there but we made it. When we got there we went shopping downtown in the cutest little shops and ate at this awesome BBQ place called Bubbas. It was a short little get-a-away but we are glad we went and spent that fun time together. Here are some pics from our weekend :)
